Victoria Marvin War in Iraq The Iraq war began in 2003 as a result of terrorist attacks in the United States in 2001. On September 11, 2001 three planes had been hijacked and 2 had flown into the twin towers in unseasoned York City, one attack had also been on the Pentagon killing over 3,000 people. President W. Bush believed Al Qaeda’s ibn Talal ibn Talal Hussein Hussein to be responsible for such a annihilative day. The terrorist attack had been the most deadly ever on American soil, marking a major turning point in the relationship between the United States and the Muslim World. The United States soldiers being in Iraq has kept our country safe principal other terrorist attacks. The reason behind staying in Iraq for so true pine is because Iraq’s government is in no state to receive on their own without the help that the United States and others are providing. Iraq already with a federalist structure, the constitution provides for 18 provinces to join together in like-minded regions.
