This tragic event inspired almost universal sorrow, and immediately Facebook statuses and Twitter updates changed to quote the smart as a whip intellectual. Most prevalent among these changes was Jobs famous closing dumbfound hungry, taking into custody foolish. Now of the thousands of teenagers who had changed their statuses and updated their twitters, how many actually considered what it means? Ironically, the masses unthinkingly quoted Jobs or, more accurately, parroted his words without taking his advice to heart, without mourning his loss by asking ourselves the vital question that forces critical self-reflection and compels us to well(p)ify our actions. why?   My father once asked me why I had so very much distaste for a classmate. After a fewer moments of deliberation, I responded with, I dont really know, she just annoys me. Our conference ended shortly after but when I theorise my response now, I realized that I, just alike(p) the thousand teenagers on mixer networking sites, had exemplified a common singularity that defines our society: mindlessness.     We ar inhibited by our fear of the unknown.
