Civil Rights Movement: Key Players

The Civil Rights movement was the national effort in the 50s and 60s to overthrow sequestration to gain equal rights. Many individuals and organizations challenged separatism and discrepancy with a variety of activities, including dissent marches, ostracizes, and refusal to abide by segregation laws.
